RESUME

I am Blaž Makari, born in 2002 and I come from Murska Sobota.

I began my educational journey in September 2009 at Primary School I Murska Sobota, which I successfully completed in June 2018. Due to my interest in the profession of electrical engineer, I enrolled in the Secondary Vocational and Technical School (SPTŠ) Murska Sobota, which I first entered as a student in September 2018, and graduated with the success of a golden baccalaureate in May 2022. During my studies at SPTŠ, I learned a lot of useful knowledge, but I was most impressed by the courses that dealt with energy topics. Because of this, I decided to study energy technology at the Faculty of Energy technology, University of Maribor, where I have been a student since October 2022.

My main hobby is genealogy, which I have been doing since 2015; when I was in the 5th grade of elementary school, I made a family tree of my ancestors for homework, in which I included myself, my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.

My passion for genealogy grows year after year, which is proven by the success of my research.

As an elementary school student, I attended the Murska Sobota Music School for 4 years (from September 2011 to June 2015), where I learned to play the accordion. My interest in music and musical expression and creation died down after finishing the 4th grade and reawakened during the corona period (2020), when I bought a keyboard. Two years later, I upgraded my musical creation with a guitar, which I learned to play as a self-taught person. I consider the years 2022 and 2023 to be the most musically productive years, when I wrote and set 6 songs in total, of which only one (Po poti domov, 2023) saw the light of day.

For 8 years (from June 2013 to June 2021), as a member of the Murska Sobota Sports Shooting Association, I actively and competitively engaged in sports shooting, where I learned calmness, concentration and psychological stability, which also proved useful in genealogy, especially when searching for information in old family registers. Since June 2021, I have been involved in sports shooting more or less recreationally.
